I gave Ally Condie's "Matched" 5 Diamonds because of the story's innocence. Condie used the idea of a utopian society to show just how much we take for granted in our world today. Her story takes place in a world where everything is chosen for us, including our food, clothes, and romantic partners. Cassia is the story's main character and in this story she struggles to find herself and what's important in her life. Should she be happy with her "match" who was her best friend since childhood or should she follow her heart and go with Ky, a mysterious boy who lets her know just what life has to offer. This book is the first in a trilogy and I can't wait for the next one!
